Agency Affirms Indiana Credit Rating
There is more good economic news for the state. Standard and Poor's has affirmed Indiana's 'AAA' credit rating. The rating service cites the state's diversifying economic base, solid reserves and low overall debt levels.The announcement follows word this week that Indiana's economy grew 4.6 percent in 2010.
The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis says that is well above the national rate of 2.6 percent and trails only North Dakota and New York state.
