More Jobs Announcements Planned
Hundreds of new jobs are coming to central Indiana. Governor Mitch Daniels will join officials for an announcement this morning about a new health care operation in Indianapolis and executives from a company planning to locate an assembly facility in Delaware County.The events will come three days after the Governor helped announce a total of 850 Hoosier jobs at ExactTarget Inc. in Indianapolis and Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) in Columbus.
Governor Mitch Daniels will join executives from a health care company to announce plans for the company's new Indianapolis operations which will result in hundreds of jobs. The announcement will be in the governor's office at 9 a.m. Friday.
At 11 a.m. the governor will be in Muncie to announce that a manufacturing company will be locating a new assembly operation in the 740,000 square-foot building formerly occupied by ABB which closed in 1998. The announcement will take place in the parking lot of the facility which is located at 3500 South Cowan Road in Muncie.
